Summer Entertaining

Summer entertaining is about impromtu get-togethers when the weather blesses us with sunny days and cooking and eating outside is so much more fun. Throwing an afternoon tea party gives us an excuse to prepare tiny little sandwiches and mini cupcakes. Fill cupcake stands with cakes and scones and cucumber savory treats.  Decorate the tables with candles in jam jars and pretty napkins. 

Summer garden parties should be marvellously relaxed affairs - time to dig out the croquet set and cricket bats, string up some bunting and honeycomb decorations. Lay out platters of mediterranean anti pasta treats on pretty food picks and make up jugs of Pimms and relax! 

String some fairy lights in the trees and  your outside dining space will be transformed again as dusk falls.
